Okay, so after so much frustration and drama, we're now back with Chapter Two of this blog! I haven't really bought much in the way of make up lately, but I will share with you all what I have gotten lately.
So first, drugstore stuff...
I have been doing prom make ups for my roommates' family members and friends. And so thats made me want to expand my kit. And since most of the girls I've been doing make up for have been jamaican, meaning they're black, diffrent colours show up on their skin tone which is medium dark.
>So I bought some prestige liquid eyeliners.
One in an amethyst shade of purple.
One in a sapphire shade of blue, which is really nice.
And a gold one. The gold one shows up really well on their skintone.
>Then I bought a glittery sky blue eyeliner pencil, which I haven't used on anyone yet, but it's really pretty cause the glitter does come across. It's silver glitter btw.
>I bought a new foundation from the Almay natural line. In neutral nu. It blends pretty well.
>The shimmery translucent powder that matches well doesn't really match cause it's translucent, duh, but yeah it leaves a nice shimmer. But it's more for going out or a special occasion, so I'm going to have to go back for the matte version.
>Two of the Revlon matte lipsticks, one in the nude colour, and one in the pinker shade, the names escape me at the moment, but I'll type them out later. The nude one, I'm not to sure about.
I soon get to the MAC stuff.
But I went to Sawgrass yesterday and bought myself some much needed stuff cause you know when you move, and you're going through your clothes, espically your underware and sock drawer, not to mention your bra's you're like, "I wore this" and "How long have I had this thing" and "OMG what the hell was I thinking, seriously?" So I replaced all the stuff I had to throw out.
I also got 3 new pairs of shoes.
One pair of all white Fila sneakers for work.
One pair of black and pink Zoo Yorks for gamer night or going out with the "fam".
And one pair of Betsey Johnson's high heels that look sorta like Gothic Lolita shoes. I had to get them, they were just to cute to pass up. xD
I'll try and take decent cell phone pics if nothing else and post them up later.
Now onto the mac stuff. The CCO near me, in Sawgrass recently got in a WHOLE buncha new stuff this past week, including some Heatherette and Dame Edna stuff, lots of pigments, lots of nail polish, eyeshadows two of which are discontinued and were on Macs goodbye list, i think I mentioned those two before. Pen n' Pink, and Poision Pen.
So I got the Heatherette Trio 1 I believe. The one that was originally suggested to be used with the Rollickin' paintpot which I'm going to have to find cause that look is too cute.
Then I got a Dame Edna trio, not sure which one it is, but it's the one that does look like the Heatherette one. Just substitute the pink in heather to a grey shade and they're basically the same.
Then I got two of the Suite eyeshadow duo's i guess? The brown one and the Pink one, again names escape me at the moment and there are screaming children running around if I go for my room they'll all try and follow me in and disrupt everything. SO.... yeah I'll post up the names later.
And two lipglasses. I was really hoping to find Morning Glory, which I've wanted for awhile and was considering ordering off of this discounted mac website, but... I couldn't find it. BUT I did find two other ones I've wanted. Spring Bean, the shimmery green one that gives a nice golden glow to whatever you're wearing, and WhiteLustre which I'm not sure if it's a lipglass or lustreglass since I don't have it in front of me at the moment.
So yeah that's pretty much it I think. I'm really happy with everything I got and hopefully the heatherette and fafi stuff holds out till this coming weekend, I wanna go back and get more stuff. ^^ Can't wait to see if they get any left over Hello Kitty stuff, cause really if there's still that much Heatherette floating around, and it's supposedly the best collection Mac ever had, as far as popularity wise, so I'm told on Youtube btw... then I have my fingers crossed. ^^
So that's my update, great to be back and doing this on the regular from now on.

New make up gig?
Hello all!
So my last make up gig fell through because the girl dropped out of my friend's class at college. But my new assignment is for a friend of mine that I work with. She's going on a photoshoot at the beach no less, and I have to come up with an "evening" look for her make up. This is gonna be AWESOME! One of the tech guys at my job does free lance photog so yeah. That'll be good.
I shall post pictures after the photoshoot. It's going to be next saturday, the 18th. Wish me luck!

Bit of an Update.....
Hello duckies, <3
So I haven't posted in a bit, and that's not because stuff hasn't been going on for me to update about, more so that TO MUCH is going on for me to update about. So I'm not really sure if I said before or not, but i'll just say it again, I have to move again.
The end of this month I have to have everything all packed up, and ready to go. I'm moving out of my one bedroom apartment I used to share with my mom's and moving into a 4 bedroom house with two of my friends. Now I've gotten mixed feelings from other friends about this. Some say that your friendship changes when you live with people. Naturally it does. They get to see that rare side of you that they wouldn't normally see, and it can either strengthen a relationship or break it. But I'm willing to take that chance. We all have more in common then not, so we shall see.
On the make up front. I finally purchased the last bits of Sugarsweet that I wanted. So now in total, I have three shade sticks, (Cakeshop, Lemon Chiffon, and Red Velvet), two of the eyeshadows (Aquavert and Sugarshot), and one of the triple lipglosses (triple yum i think).
But in addition, I've also bought some other stuff. Two things actually. I bought a perminant colour in eyeshadows which is Wedge, everyone already knows what it looks like cause I'm super late on it, but yah. And I also got a lipglass, which I don't know if it's been made perminant or not, but it was there and I liked it, which is odd cause I usually don't like really light pinks on my lips. But I got peroxide from the BBR collection. It's very sheer so it gives the sparkle and gloss that I like. ^^ So we're all good there.
I've made a vow that after I move and all the bills are in a safe mode rotation and everyone knows what they have to pay. Every paycheck, I'm getting 1 brush, 1 eyeshadow and or 1 lipglass that I want. I like getting mail. :D that'll slowly build up my collection while I wait for news about going to make up school. Sounds like a safe bet to me eh?
So yeah thats my update for now, I'll be back on a regular basis once everythings settled and calmed down some around here. I appreciate you 5 sticking with me through all this, I haven't been the best of bloggers and I hope to improve that soon. ^^ Luvs you all

MAC's Sugar Sweet Collection
Hello peoples.....
So Mac's sugarsweet collection came out this month, and I got my order today. Thankfully, I only used standard mail, and I didn't have to sign for it, so they just left it at my door. ^^
I got both nail polishes, Peppermint patti, and Seasonal Peach. Both are really really pretty. I would also like to mention that, the collection wasn't out for very long, and the peppermint patti nailpolish is already sold out. I'm glad that I ordered it when I did.
I got two eyeshadow's. Aquavert, the green one, and Sugarshot, the highlight coloured one. Both are really pretty, and I like 'em.
I got one of the shade sticks in lemon chiffon, it's really nice, very smooth and pearly, which I like. ^^
And I got one of the lipglasses, which was the only one I actually liked which is Triple-Yum. I'm not a really big fan of pale pink on my lips, my lips are a little to dark to actually pull it off, so it never looks right. I prefer brown tones to be honest.
But yeah I'm very happy with the products I bought and I recommend it to anyone. You know it's very odd how quickly I became a mac addict. Now hardly a collection goes by that I dont want at least one thing from. It's horrible really.
BUT, the new collections are coming up. Style Warrior, in which I wanna get two of the lip glasses because one's golden yellow and one's pale peach, which I like, and the nail polishes of course, cause they're kinda my thing now. I blame Sarah (FoundOnFilm) she had to make that video with the purple nail polish from the Dame Edna collection. And then the Hello Kitty collection with the three nail polishes. Jeez!
I'll be moving soon too, and so I'll be saving money to be spending even more on Mac. Sickening really LOL!
So yeah, if you have gotten anything from the SugarSweet collection, lemme know what you got, what you like, and anything you think I shoulda got. ^^
Love you alls!!

New Products and update
Greetings peoples!
So I really haven't posted in a really long time, not for any real reason other than the fact that I haven't really been adding to my make up collection lately. After getting the stuff from the Hello Kitty collection, that's pretty much all the special collection mac stuff I want for awhile. I saw a video by SephoraJunkie on youtube, about the Kitty Koture collection. Two lip glosses, and three powders in a silver compact with crystals. The compacts are 90.00 a piece!! That is ridiculous! I'm so glad I decided not to get anything from that one. It's pretty, and maybe I'm not as big of a die hard Hello Kitty fan as perhaps some other people, and that's fine, I got what I wanted, and that's all that matters.
So new collections are the Sugar Sweet collection, the lipglasses look pretty, I saw pictures, I can't remember where, in a video on youtube I think from Cazy500. Not entirely sure that I want to go adding to my "special collection" stuff before I start getting the basics....
So I'm taking suggestions. Eyeshadows, and lipglasses as I'm not a real fan of lipsticks, to add to my collection.
I know that I want Brule, Wedge, Carbon, Sushi Flower, Shroom, Slate, and Smut. LOL, just because of it's name..lol Smut... I know i'm a dork. But yah, if anyone wants to add their favorite to my list of needs, please do so. :)
At any rate, in make up news, I've actually stopped wearing some for awhile. I know shocking right?!? However, I know for a fact that in order to look good, you have to start from the basics, and work from the ground up.
Now as everyone knows, foundation can cover pigmentation, but not texture, and since the texture of my skin has been horrible lately, I thought that I'd let it breathe and just moisturize it until it clears up.
Although I will say that lately, since I'm not using foundation, I have been working on my "Cutting the Crease" technique. And I've been using the Noire palette by Stila. It's the one I mentioned in my last post I think. The colours are really nice, and I've been using my vanilla pigment with it. Using vanilla as a highlight, the pink colour on my lids, and the sky / china blue as the "crease cutting" colour. I'm just working on my creative side right now.
I need to get fix+ as well to use as a mixing medium to work with it in another way other than applying dry shadow yah know?
I'm really getting into this whole pigment thing. I like them, and their texture, and I think that pigments and shadows and brushes are going to be my weaknesses when it comes to Mac. lol Horrible I know.
Anyways, that is all I think. I hope you all have enjoyed your past couple of weeks, meanwhile I am going to end this, go make my italian mac n cheese and chikken strips with honey for dinner. Then start my laundry. Enjoy what's left of your weekend, and I hope the coming week is nice to you all.
To all you UKers, enjoy the Hello Kitty collection, hopefully as much as I did. <3

Haul..again...& 6 things Tag
Hello all, so my last box has finally come in, and tomorrow I get my mac box and that's IT! No more hauling for a good long while until I get some actual looks down with the make up I have. The only other thing I'd go and do as of right now is start adding to my brush collection, and get shade matched for Mac foundations and concealer. Since I just can't seem to find the right shade on my own.
I hope you're all having a nice week so far.. happy hump day to those of you who work like me and have weekends off. Friday is almost here, I promise, it's almost here! xD
So anyways, I ordered some things from Beautycrunch.com just because I wanna try out diffrent brands outside of Mac like I said before, with the random stuff I got like the Amuse palettes and the tea lip balm. Which I will be doing a review on, probably friday night when I get home from work, just to let you know!
So haul. First off I got an eyeshadow book thingie from Pop beauty. It's called "Lid Gold" and it comes in a small little package. It has 6 eyeshadow colours made for golden eyes.
The first colour is a black with glitter, kinda reminds me of Macs "Black Tide".
The second colour is a dark olivey green, which is really pretty.
The third colour is a medium brown / taupe colour.
The fourth colour is a golden colour. Really nice.
The fifth colour is a really odd minty green, which doesn't look like it'd go with the rest of the colours which, are pretty neutral on the whole, but yeah.
And finally the 6th colour is a white with a pink pearl reflect. Really nice highlight colour. *nods*
Then I got a stila palette in "noire". The box is so pretty! It's a quad btw, kinda like the look books stila makes. The front has this felty type material on it, and it reminds me of those fuzzy posters they sell at like walmart with the markers. Hope someone out there knows what im talking about. My grandma bought me a bunch of them over my childhood. But anyways, yeah you open it up, and there's three eyeshadows and a blush.
It has a pearly pinky peach colour, can't really tell with my lighting at the moment, but it's pretty. Very pigmented.
It has a sorta greyish china blue, which is also really nice.
And it has a black with glitter which is supposed to be the "liner" colour.
All three eyeshadows are really pigmented and I like them alot.
The blusher is a flushy pink colour, sorta a mid tone pink, not to barbie type bright, or to raspberry dark, it's sorta well, mid tone. lol it's pretty. ^^
Also i got three brushes from this set called Bella il Fiore. There's three of them, a face brush, a eyeliner brush, and a lip colour brush, and they're all pink handled with rhinestones in the bottom of the handle, and I thought they were really cute, and cheap so why not.
So that was my box, and then tonight, I just got some neutrogena face cleanser. I watched a few skin care videos, and have decided that the reason my face is so dry is because I'm scrubbing it to much. Instead of having a exfoliator and a cleanser, I was just using the stuff with the rough bits ALL the time as my cleanser and it was irritating my skin, stripping it of it's moisture, and my own moisterizer couldn't keep up. SO, I am going under the advice of the almighty Petrilude, who's a professional, and therefor, knows a hell of a lot more then I do.
Cleanse two times, first time to get off oil and dirt, second time you actually clean your skin. So to help with that process, I'm going to use my face wipes to take my make up off, use my new cleanser, which is from the same line as the exfoliator, and the toner I have, and start a skin care regime, that's totally not how you spell it but whatever.
So here goes, weekly face thing. Mon. Wed. and Fri. Use the exfoliator in the shower in the morning, use toner, and moisturizer. Tuesday, thursday, and saturday, use just cleanser, toner and moisturizer, Sunday, use cleanser, mint julip face mask, Biore nose strips, and moisturizer.
Sound like a plan? I may change the exfoliator usage depending on how big of an improvement my skin has after cutting down on using it so often. *nods*
So that's it for today.. I'll probably type up again friday with the review of the balm, and the gloss i got, aaaaand, the mac prep and prime, cause it comes tomorrow, along with my vanilla pigment so I'll be playing with those for friday.
Anywho, enjoy the rest of your week, and hope you all enjoy!

6 Things that Make Me Happy
Even though she doesn't follow my blog anymore, I saw this on Hele's bloggy and thought I'd give it a shot. Mine isn't going to be as spiffy as hers as I have no pictures to put up, but yeah.
1.) Sneakers. I love sneakers, I'm not addicted enough really to be called a "Sneaker Head" I don't troll ebay looking for them, or stalk websites for new designs. But I do like the classics, original chuck t's, white on white reeboks or nike's, shell toes, yeah. I'm feeling that. You can tell alot about a persons personality on how they take care of their sneakers. Just an fyi
2.) Sleep. I never seem to get enough of it, so it's one of my favorite things in the world. I love curling up in my bed and sawing a log. It sounds stupid, but yeah.
3.) Nail Polish. I've always wanted really pretty nails but I've always had the bad habit of biting them, so I put acrylics on when I was 19 and pretty much kept 'em on for 6 months at a stretch, then gave my nails 6 months off to recoup before putting them back on. Now that I've taken them off til August, I love buying nail polish and how pretty my hands look after they're freshly painted. Just wish my job wasn't so rough on my hands that they didn't chip alla time. =(
4.) Smell Memories. I love smelling something, whether it's a food, or a perfume, or a outside smell, that reminds me of something from a long time ago. The scent of my grandfathers basement workshop, the smell of the hot asphalt just before it got hit with cold rain (that's a favorite of mine scent wise), the smell of a storm coming in from the ocean, the many food scents that remind me of my childhood. I always know when I've made food right because it'll remind me of my grandma and how I learned to cook by watching her and my grandpa in the kitchen.
5.) Shinys. Now, unlike most shallow women, my shiny's dont have to be expensive. You coulda bought it at walmart and I wouldn't care. As long as it's pretty and or cute, I'll take it and never say a word about the cost, unless it cost alot in which i'll whine at you that you shouldn't have bought it for me, but i'll treasure it all the more because of it. My dad and I have a similiar interest in alot of things and odd jewelry is one of them. Browsing those stores that sell dragon and wizard and faery motif type stuff, where the whole place smells like incense, and you see all the stones in the odd settings, and stuff, thats the kinda jewelry I like.
I don't like diamonds, or really expensive name brand shit. I think it's crap. I'd rather have sterling silver dream catcher earrings, then the biggest rock you could put in my ear. I know I'm a nut.
6.) My iPod. Anytime I feel like crap I reach for it. When I'm happy I reach for it. When I'm crying and upset, I reach for it. My ipod is my universal favorite thing, I really could not live without it now that I've had it. Thanks to my ex boyfriend who bought this one for me cause my other overheated. He never asked for it back either. Or asked for the money for it, although I thought plenty of times to send it to him anyways. But yeah my ipod keeps me sane, and reminds me that anytime I miss my kpop boys all i have to do is reach for my ipod and they're right there waiting to sing to me. :) apple = Love. <3>>Tami

Haul and updates...
Hello my peoples, sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Life kinda got crazy for a minute, and yeah. But I FINALLY got my Cherry Culture haul. Well really I had to go get it and bring it home. - -; And when I got home friday, I found yet ANOTHER note on my door from UPS about my 2nd Mac order, because I have to sign for it. So I rescheduled the delivery for Thursday, and hopefully I can wait for it to come in, and then go to work after. So I'm going to tell my boss, that I have a repair person or some such coming to my house, and that I have to be present to let them in, and it's one of those between this time, to this time, and if he comes early then I'll come into work, if not, if he comes in at like 2 or 3 or whenever, then I won't be in, but I'll call ahead and let her know. I'm going to tell both my lead at work and my boss tomorrow when I go in, just so I give them ample warning.
The things I do for make up I swear! But, for those of you in the UK, I don't know if you have this problem, but UPS will only attempt to deliver it 3 times, and if they miss you each time, then they send your stuff back to the shipper. Now, I had a box sent to my house but they left onna those lil note things, I forgot about it, and it got shipped back and my money wasn't refunded. So there's no way I'm losing out on 127.00 worth of stuff. So yeah... enough ranting, onto the good stuff!
So Cherry Culture had their stuff on sale, like they frequently do, and I took advantage of some stuff.
I got alot of eyeshadow palettes actually, just because I wanted a variety of colours, much more so then I have at the moment. And they're by Amuse. And I got
Two of the Amuse Bella Eyeshadow Palettes, One in Diva, and one in Romance. The colours are all really glittery and shimmery and that's really what drew me to the palettes in the first place, I haven't used them yet so I'll post a review later if someone requests it or if I just do it out of boredom about the pigmentation and fall outs of glitter and such should there be any. The colours really are pretty though. pinks and golds and taupes in the I believe it's the Diva palette and the Romance palette has brighter more cheerful shades of colours. I like 'em both.
http://www.cherryculture.com/cosmetics/makeup/amuse/amuse-bella-eye-palette/17152&cat=0&page=2 <~~ That's the link with the colours.
Two of the Amuse Flower Palettes, there's really only two to choose from so I got both, one's in Pixie, the other in Princess. you get 6 eyeshadows and two decent sized blusher pans. Now I would like to say that these palettes appear very shimmery on the top, but once you use the top layer I believe the colours go sorta matte which kinda reminds me of the Dame Edna Beauty Powders from Mac. I've only just swiped a finger across one of the blushes to see and alot of the glitter came off, so yeah. I'll update with this once I start using it. http://www.cherryculture.com/cosmetics/makeup/amuse/amuse-flower-palette/17061&cat=0&page=4
I got an Amuse Girl double Mirror. I like the picture on the front, it's not really "nice" cause it's not metallic like the picture leads you to believe, it's actually plastic, but it's nicer then the plain ConAir one I've BEEN using in my makeup bag for awhile so I thought I'd get one. It's Type B just so you know, second one from the left, and I really wanted the one all the way at the end on the right but it's out of stock, even now. But I like it.
http://www.cherryculture.com/cosmetics/makeup/amuse/amuse-girl-mirror/16986&cat=0&page=5
And finally from Amuse I got two of their Ice Palettes, although the covers say "Diamond" palette, probably because they have diamond cuts in the shadow itself to give it that textured look that NYX's single shadows have yah know? Now I had thought I asked for the Pixi and the Princess again, but they sent me Pixi and Midnight. o.O doesn't matter though I love the colours in all the palettes. And i've used the pixi one of this type already saturday, and the pigmentation was pretty good for something that cheap.
http://www.cherryculture.com/cosmetics/makeup/amuse/amuse-ice-palette/16873&cat=0&page=5
Then, I got a eyeshadow quad / duo blusher kit thingie from Starry. There were two colours to choose from, one purple, and one blue, although in the picture given of said make up, neither appear to be the colours. The picture depicts a pink one, and a white one. Go figure, but I got the blue one. And it has four shades of blue eyeshadow on top, very pigmented, although it does smell a bit powdery, kinda like baby powder and one of the shadows is a bit chalky, but all in all for the price, it's pretty good. And the on the second level, cause it has more underneath, there's two blusher colours, one a sort of light peach colour, the other a darker corally colour. They're both pretty nice, although I've never tried peachy coloured blushers before, I tend to stick to pinks, but I'm willing to branch out and try it. The compact in and of itself is pretty small, so it's ideal to toss in your bag and use it with a powder compact for touch ups through the day. Also comes with two sponge tip applicators who's plastic handles, i might add, match the blue pastic of the whole case.
http://www.cherryculture.com/cosmetics/makeup/starry/starry-shadow-blush-palette/16147&cat=0&page=6
Then I got a Mood lipgloss from Starry, which, really just looks like a clear gloss to me, I haven't tried it yet, but I really bought it more so for the packaging then buying into the gimmick. It doesn't smell bad, or really of anything to be honest. There's a slight fruity smell I think, which is always a pleasent alternative to some really strong smelling glosses that you have to smell all day long. This gloss also doesn't have a doe foot applicator, or a brush, it's a straight up stick. It reminds me of the japanese glosses that ChefCaffy sent to PinkieCharm in one of PinkieCharm's haul videos. It's just a flat applicator, and I've never used anything like that, nor did I know that it had one when I bought it, I just liked the butterfly on the bottle. I got one in purple, just an fyi. Now the "mirror" on the back is nothing more then a piece of cheap plastic, and you can hardly see yourself in it, but again for 2.50 you really can't expect granduere yah know?
http://www.cherryculture.com/cosmetics/makeup/starry/starry-magic-mood-lipgloss/16866&cat=0&page=4
Then I got this lip balm from a company called Crazy Rumors. They make lip balms in the taste of specific drinks. They have a coffee set, they have a Tea set, and the one I got, was the Crazy Rumors Brew Tea Lip Balm in Orange Bergamot (Earl Grey). I've only used it once, but I have to say I like the texture, I like the scent, it didn't wear off for awhile, and my lips felt really soft and smooth when it finally did. I'd rate it up there with a couple of other balms I like, such as Burts Bees and Chapstix. So yeah, Crazy Rumor's is a pretty good alternative to either of those.
http://www.cherryculture.com/cosmetics/makeup/crazy-rumors/crazy-rumors-brew-tea-balm/16697&cat=0&page=1
And Finally, I got myself a crapton, well not really, but a bunch of NYX Girls polishes. ^^ I'm really into nails at the moment, espically since I've had my acrylics off since mid December, and have decided to let my breathe and grow until my Birthday in August, and then I'll get them redone in acrylic. But yeah I got;
Mother of Pearl, which is this pearly irridecent colour, I like it.
Candy Glitter, which is a baby pink with loads of glitter in it.
Silver, which well should be self explainatory.
Aqua Glitter, which is also self explainatory.
And Black, please see above.
I had bought a black Polish from Milani, but I dont like the pigmentation on it. It doesn't cover very well, it's kinda cheap, and yeah you have to apply like 3 coats of Milani just to get it dark enough to not see bits of your nail through the black streaks. So I thought I'd give the NYX one a shot, since the other black NYX I bought in Asphalt is black but with multi coloured glitters in it.
I'm currently wearing Mother of Pearl, over Mac's Vericose Violet, and it's really pretty. Very purplely, blue reflecty, milky, prettiness. <3>>Tami

Hello Kitty Haul...
Hello All,
So despite what I thought, my Hello Kitty stuff did come today because I guess UPS is running, even though the postal office isn't. At least I dont think it is.
Anyways, it's a small mac box, but it's my first, and I shall be keeping it as a badge of leaping into Mac stuffs. ^^ This may seem like something stupid to alot of people who have been buying mac forever and a decade but to me, who is just learning higher end brands, it's a big deal.
So I'm sure alot of you have already seen pictures, and watched peoples hauls, and even seen tutorials on the colours. So I wont bore you with alla that. And I've already mentioned what I got so again I wont go through the list again. I also got my nail polish in Vericose Violet from Dame Edna. I LOVE it, it's so pretty so thank you to Sarah, aka FoundOnFilm who showed it in one of her videos. It's beautiful and I love it. ^^
However, I do have one question which, when I was opening my stuff kinda struck me as odd. All of the stuff I got as I'm sure all the mac stuff says "Back to Mac" which is their recycling program. Now, the part that strikes me as odd is this. The packaging for Hello Kitty is really all that people bought this collection for, I mean lets be real, the colours were nice, but some of them were re promotes so they weren't anything like "OMG i've never seen anything like that before I MUST have it." So, the thought of people actually taking the bottles or tubes or quads back once they're done struck me as kinda funny. xD But yah that's just me.
I'm still a little concerned that my Cherry Culture stuff isn't here yet. Espically since it was approved and shipped before my Mac Stuff even went in for order. o.O I know that cherry culture is notorious for being late but I've already got confirmation that it's been shipped so I dunno where it is. Makes me sad panda. :(
Anyways, I put in another Mac order, for things that I thought I could use for my make up kit as a pro, and one thing that I just broke down and got.
I ordered;
>Vanilla pigment, because everyone who does a make up starter kit on youtube suggests it,
>Rubenesque paint pot, because the other ones were going to be either to light or to dark.
>316 brush which is the lip brush with the metal cap. Cause I feel I need one.
>Mac Prep and Prime. It seems like a tool that would help foundation glide on more smoothly, I've been using revlon and it works sorta okay, but I wanna see if the prep and prime works better.
> and finally because I could avoid it no longer, I finally buckled and paid the 42.00 and bought the hello kitty plushie doll. - -; I know I'm retarded and such a little kid but, I remember my first sanrio product was a back to school kit with pencils and scissors, and paper, and erasers that were My Melody. And I've had a love affair with hello kitty ever since. That was in 2nd grade by the way cause I remember the bedroom I was in when I opened it after my mommy gave it to me. We moved around alot which is why it's easier to remember what grade it was. So you figure you were what? 7 in 2nd grade? And i'm 27 now? yeah, it's been a long time love affair with hello kitty. I had whole big folders of pictures of her from the net, but my grandparents thought it was dumb so I never got plushies of her. :( meh.
And thanks to Pinkie Charm I finally have the name for Hello Kitty and Mimmy's pet kitten named Charmmy Kitty. She's cute, so hopefully when I go to Sanrio next time, I can look for plushies of her. :)
SO yeah that's about it. Love yah all. ^^

New Haul..
Now that I have my taxes, I can afford to continue to add stuff to my make up kit. So I went to Walgreens to get Mountain Dew, my favorite drink of all time, and came back with almost 60 dollars worth of stuff, so this is what I got.
I got a box of Neutrogena cleaning wipes. Cause I'm almost out of my other ones. I need to get another tube of the scrub I used to cleanse my skin so I can do what Petrilude suggests, cleansing twice. Once to get the make up, dirt and oil off your face, and the second time to actually cleanse. Yep, gonna take his advice, he's a professional, and yet another reminder I have SO much to learn.
I got two new blushes, because the containers are huge and they're hue's I dont have yet. I got two CoverGirl "TruBlends Minerals" blushes. One in 425 Pure Romance which is shimmery pink colour, and Shimmering Sands which despite it's name and you thinking it'd be a brown or even tan colour, it's more rosey. They both leave a shimmery gleam after they've been worked into the skin, and I think they're pretty. The containers are farkin huge too, 18 grams for pity sakes, for like 7.50 or something like that which is 5 pound 26 in the UK, I looked it up :D SEE i do stuff for you guys! But yeah the powders are really pretty. They come in a sifter jar, and with a little puff each. I prefer a brush but yeah. I'll do a proper review once I've used them for awhile.
I also got a product that my favorite reviewer PinkieCharm on youtube used for her cuticles. Burts Beez Lemon Butter cuticle cream. I used it before I "attempted" my own french manicure, which came out horrible I might add, my left hand shook so much trying to put the lines on my right hand it was ridiculous.
I got a Nail art pen in white, from Sally Hansen to do aforementioned nail care, and it it works pretty good although it reminds me of working with a white out pen for typing mistakes yah know? On a type writer if any of you have ever seen one, i know it's considered ancient now a days with computers but yeah. It doesn't have to much staying power, and it bleeds pretty bad when you get to the corners of your nail but again, my hand was shaking pretty bad trying to draw a straight line so yeah. - -; I'll have to practice with it summore to master using it.
I got two new brushes from studio 38 or whatever it's called. It's a dual end shader and liner brush, I didn't realize it was dual end until i bought it. I also bought a single eye liner brush for my H.i.p gel eyeliner because the brush it came with is crap, and the Beauty Essentials brush that says "eyeliner" is a rounded brush instead of a angled brush, it's fibers aren't stiff enough and it just plain sucks so hopefully this one will work out better. I'll let you know.
I also bought a complete travel brush kit. It's a plastic case that when you open it has the brushes in the middle that ark and pop up. There's a blush brush, powder brush, eyeliner brush, eyebrow and eyelash brush, lip brush, eye shadow brush, and a mini mirror. I thought I could use that for my "clients" instead of having to worry about transferring my germs to someone else by using my other brushes.
Plus I remember watching Bolyre I think is how you spell his name, he hasn't made videos in forever but yeah, he said that he keeps his personal brushes seperate from his client brushes. And that to me sounds like a really good idea. SO, that's the point of that purchase. Plus it's compact enough to bring with me should I need to go somewhere, like to someone's house and do their make up. *nods*
And I think that was it. I've finally finished cleaning off my bereau and am going to put all the make up I have been piling up on my desk out to my make up area, and put all my nail stuff in the cubby where my WoW stuff used to be. ^^ Just to keep everything in it's own place yah know? So yeah. Thanks everybody for letting me rant and whine and bitch in my last post, I was just really upset trying to figure all this stuff out. But I've talked to some friends who support me and I feel better. Night!

So yeah. Thanks everybody for letting me rant and whine and bitch in my last post, I was just really upset trying to figure all this stuff out. But I've talked to some friends who support me and I feel better. Night!

Pedistal broken...
So, I've just had a bit of a pedistal broken for me. One of the make up guru people I follow on youtube who is also planning on going into make up school was on blog tv, most of you probably know who I'm talking about. I had asked questions about whether there was a particular branch of make up she wanted to get into, what was she going to do once she finished school, was she going to just free lance or anything, and I really didn't get responses back. I got "I dont know" and then the attention was reverted to pickles and someone singing Bohemian Rhapsody in the chat. o.O
Now I am well aware that I am not in any way shape or form part of the youtube community. And when I start doing videos, it will probably continue that way, simply because I'm an outsider. There are so many people that do hauls, and tutorials, and reviews, that I don't see anything I do as anything special, but I hope to hit a cord with at least someone.
But enough of my disappointment. I really shouldn't be though, I dont have any reason to think that she'd give up any of her other conversations to talk to just me, but yeah, it was still a bit of a let down. I also think that one of my favorite people on youtube doesn't like me. I posted a comment on one of her videos, not meaning to be a smartass but looking back I can see how it would be taken that I was, and I feel really bad about it now. Then I watched her other channel, and she touched on a subject that I know about first hand and offered a suggestion, and she replied, and I sent her a long page worth of encouragement, and I'm able to post on her video's again, but yeah. I feel bad. I think I talk to much. Whenever I post on her videos I always leave a long comment, only really because I feel like "great haul!!!!1111oenoenoen" is like dumb to put, cause everyone says that. I just have a really big mouth with alot to say I suppose.
But I watch these people and a few of them I'd like to be friends with, not because I want anything from them, just because, I dont have very many friends who are into make up like I am, and some of them are down on my wanting to be a make up artist, they think i'm just being dumb. So if I had other people to talk to about it, like I have people here who actually read this, then maybe I would have enough courage to do more then I'm doing. =/
So my course of action is as follows;
My first free lance make up gig is coming up soon. I explained the situation in the blog post below this so I wont repeat myself, and once I do that, I'll get her pictures to put in my portfolio, and hopefully I can continue working with her, and get enough photo's together to put up on the net and get more work doing such. Unfortunately, since I don't drive legally down here, I'm at a disadvantage. But I'll have to figure something out.
Once I save up enough to go to school for this, I'm going to have to take a night job. Now T.A.G or the answer group down here has day and night shifts, if I could get the night shift there, and go to school during the day, then I'd be able to swing it that way, I'd find some way to make it work.
So as of right now, my main goal is to get practice in fantasy make up to become a make up artist for the Ren faire, and other L.a.r.p'ing things of that sort. Since i'm such a D&D geek it only seems fitting eh?
Thats another thing, where did my sister go today? With my nephew, and her lil family? THE REN FAIRE, you think she'd ask ME if I wanted to go? No of course not. *sigh* It would have been a great opportunity for me to ask questions from the cast of how one becomes a vendor to do stuff like that. But no. Once again, fate has denied me.
I'm sorry this post is so negative but I'm just so frustrated right now trying to figure out my situation and how I'm going to make my dream work out that I'm feeling very blah right now, and my lack of getting answers from someone I look up to just compacted it into a big box of meh. - -;; So I'm going to go brain storm summore and leave this post as is. I dont wanna hear flames about how I should know better, or how I really shouldn't expect someone to be nice to me just because I'm nice to them. Save that lecture for someone who cares. Thanks.

OMG!! omg omg omg omg Oh.em.gee!
So my friend Fulani, who's gone back to school for uhh something to do with theater or television production, something of that sort, she has a girl in her class who's a "model" part time. And this model is going for a photo shoot to add to her portfolio to step up her game. So she had said that she wanted someone to do creative make up on her for this shoot.
So what does Fulani do? She drops MY name!! O.O!!! omg omg omg omg OMG!! *Spazz* I'm going to get to do make up for a model for a photo shoot, how awesome is that!? It's excatly what I wanna do! It's so awesome there isn't a right adjective to put in front of awesome to say really how awesome it is. I'm nervous and originally I said no, cause I didn't think I could do it, but Fulani, stubborn as always, talked me through it, and today I told her I'd do it.
She's a black girl, which is a bit of a bummer cause being white, I dont have any face products in her shade, SO I have to tell Fulani to ask the girl to bring her own foundation and powder, (how tacky is that?? hey im a newbie, hush.) and her mascara, cause I heard you're not supposed to share mascara. Germ transfer and alla that. So I've decided that now that my tax refund check got here (WOOT!) I'm gonna go to the CCS tomorrow, after stopping at Tates for some new D&D papers, maybe another dice set, and a few tokidoki items.
I should explain tates. Tates is one of the best Comic Book stores in south florida. Tate's wife, yes his name really is Tate, is a big anime fan, convinced him to start selling and renting Anime stuff, and she is also real artsy and stuff. So she has her own little gallery called Bears and Bees or something like that, upstairs. Just a little loft space where she has tee shirts, and all kindsa weird toys and stuff. Anyways, Im on their emailer list, and I read that they're having this huge sale to make room for the new tokidoki tiger stuff that's coming out this new season, so everything is 60% off. The jewelry, the tee shirts, all of it. Anyone who knows me knows I love tokidoki. So yeah that's a must tomorrow.
The CCS I'm going to see what they have left, if anything that I want, just a little jaunt really cause I haven't been since that first time, and I'm hoping that maybe they have some chill stuff. I remeber seeing the pigment, the reflects teal I think it was? Fulani bought that, but yeah, I should get it, and some brushes to start building up my kit that I only use on "Clients".
...EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so happy I've got this chance to do this. *bounces around her room like a nut* <3

L'Oreal H.i.p Khol Liners..
So this is a review. Shocking I know. xD On the L'Oreal H.i.P Khol Liners.
Now I have two, one in Teal and one in Burgandy, and the colours are gorgeous! However. When I bought these, I had this image in my head somehow that they were gel or some liquid variety of liner, and in actuality, they're not. Basically what L'Oreal has done is taken their pigment jars, put it into another container, and put stick wands into it for an applicator and called it a khol liner.
The only diffrence in the texture or consistancy from the pigment jars to the khol liners that I noticed was that the pigment jar was a bit more chunky. Other than that it's the same shadow.
Further more, the applicator is a bit difficult to work with, because it's not a brush of any sort, it's pretty much just a felt tip looking thing that holds onto product, very poorly at times I might add, it has a tendency for fall outs, very bad fall outs, it's not a consistant line, you have to double over in order to get the right amount of pigmentation when lining your eyes, and since it's shadow, and not a liquid form I dont recommend it for the waterline.
If you really wanted to use this for a liner, you could easily take the pigment jars, and a angle brush and maybe some water or other mixing medium and use it that way.
Do I like them? Yeah, they're okay, I like the colours because they're not available in the pigment jar form. Would I ever purchase them again? No. For me, they're to much of a hassle to get to work right, and in the morning, since I like to sleep in, I really dont have the time to fuss with it.
I have thought of buying a small small brush, kind of like the "best eyeliner brush ever?" from Lollipop26's video of the same title, and using THAT to line my eyes with the shadow. Or shaking some of the colour out, and using the same brush I use to line my eyes when using L'Oreal H.i.P's gel eyeliner. (The original brush it comes with to me is horrible, but that's another review)
But we shall see, I'll find some way to make it work and keep you all updated. ^^ Hope this helped. There are good points and bad points to this product, and depending on how much effort you wanta put into making it work for you, should be what you base your decision on as to whether or not you buy it.
Let me know if it worked for you, and what tips and tricks you used to making it work.

Kitty Mild, Kitty Wild!
So I finally got the chance to put in my order this morning for Hello Kitty stuff from Mac. I stayed up till the wee hours to see if I could do it early morning before I went to sleep but, I guess they were updating the page when I tried. So I did it this morning when I woke up.
This is what I ordered:
Lipsticks: Strayin' & Cute ster
LipGlass: Mimmy & Fast Friends
Nail Polish: Something about Pink, On the Prowl, & Vestral White
Accessories: The purse Mirror & Medium sized make up bag.
I also put in an order for Vericose Violet nail polish from the Dame Edna collection. I saw it in a haul video by Sarah, otherwise known on youtube as FoundOnFilm.
It's a great thing that I can go in late today cause I got the chance to order all my stuff, and hopefully I'll have my camera by the time it gets here so I can do a youtube video for it. How awesome would that be??
Anyways, gotta go do my make up routine cause it's almost time to leave. Talk to you guys later! I hope the snow isn't to bad for my UK people. Stay warm out there.

And I did it again....
*sigh* I must have a problem.
I put in an order at cherryculture.com like I said before, AND I went to walgreens yesterday to get ketchup, and bbq sauce for dinner, and what did I do? I bought new stuff. >.<
I feel kinda bad, but then again not, cause I love the stuff that I got, and the Hello Kitty stuff comes out tomorrow so I'm close. ^^
So here's what I got.
I had watched a video by lollipop26 about the hip khol liners that look like the indian khol liners, I got two. I wanted the black one, but they didn't have, so I got Burgandy, and Teal. Very pretty colours. Since I don't have to go into work until late tomorrow, I'm going to play around with them. I had thought they would have been liquid, but they're not. They're shadow. Which is interesting to say the very least. We shall see.
I got a Neutrogena tinted moisturizer because I've noticed that using the powder foundation, and also the liquid one, it makes the dry patches on my face more noticible. I use plenty of moisturizer after getting outta the shower, and it still makes the lines under my eyes, and the dry patches on my cheeks stand out more.
I dunno if it's because I'm not getting all the dead skin off when I use my face scrub, or my moisturizer isn't working well enough, I had mentioned a few posts back that I was looking into getting a new one. I may get the clinique one that Fafinettex3 talked about in her make up starter kit. Alot of people seem to really like it. So we shall see.
I also got a Revlon face primer, it kinda reminded me of the matte gel that Richie Nickel talks about as his favorite primer. It's not MAC, but I thought maybe I'd try the drugstore brand first, and see how it goes. I shall update and do a review at the end of the week to see how it works out.
I got another tube of the mascara that I talked about in my last post and couldn't remember the name of. It's Lash Exact. The thin purple tube. I really do like this mascara, more so than the Last Blast just because of the wand. It's not as big and clumsy. It gives me long lashes and seperates them, and I love it. I originally got it in brown cause I didn't pay attention to what colour I picked up. This time I made it a point to get the black one in Very Black. So now I have two. I like it alot and recommend it to anyone use loves lash blast but can't see to work with the big applicator brush. :)
And that's about it. Just an initial reaction of the eye khols, if I had known they weren't liquid I dont think I would have bought them. The applicator isn't a brush or anything like that, and while using it on my hand to figure out how best to apply, it can be chunky which promises fall outs galore. But I shall see how that goes.
I'll update you all again probably tomorrow before I go to work to tell you all about what I got from Hello Kitty, or rather what I ordered online. :) Bye!

New order...
So I dunno what came over me. I said I wasn't going to spend anything more until the Hello Kitty collection came out because... well yah it's going to be expensive. But I did my taxes and I know that I can get it with no problems now, so maybe that just allowed my obsessive compulsiveness to come shining through. Oh joy. - -;;
So I ordered some stuff from Cherry Culture. Some of the "other" brands I've never tried, like Amuse, Starry, and this one company that makes lip balms with tea! Anyone who knows me, knows that tea is one of my favorite drinks. Hot, cold, doesn't matter. I love the smell of tea bags, I love the taste of tea hot in the cup with milk and sugar, or by itself with lemon and honey, the tea from chinese resturants, sweet tea from down south, tea with lemon and honey cold from arizona, tea with gingseng, and well you get the idea, I love TEA! So I ordered the earl grey one, and if I like it, I'll get the other flavors.
I also ordered some eyeshadow palettes that were on sale. And not for their pigmentation, mostly for the names and the pretty packaging. I'm still a kid and I know it. ^^ They were 2 and 3 dollars a piece so it's not that big of a deal. If I was spending 10 or more on something like that, then I'd definately make sure it was better quality.
I also ordered some NYX nail polishes. I know everyone says OPI and China Glaze and MAC are the best nail polishes but, these were pretty colours and I couldn't help myself they were 1.50 for christ sakes! How do you turn that down?!?
Anyways, this weekend, I am devulging in one of my other hobbies. ANIME! There's a convention this weekend, MegaCon, which, since I'm Vice Prez of the Anime club I belong to, I'm obligated to go, and since I do the blog for our chapter, I must take pics, and document what we're doing. The Prez of our little organization, which happens to be my friend Fulani, is coming as well. Well it's really that she's going and dragging me along with her. Our friend Scott is planning on going too. We're supposed to stop by the CCS at Sak's afterwards before we go back to Fulani's house to play our weekly game of D&D. Yes, despite my intense love of make up, I am a gamer geek. Sad isn't it?
But that's my update... OH wait before I forget, I bought uhhhh three things make up related today. I bought two of those lil white stackable drawer things. The ones from the drugstore, I guess you UKers would get them at Superdrug or Boots perhaps? yeah, I got two of those, and put all my mostly used make up in them. All the palettes I dont use very often, and lip stuff I hardly use went in my train case under the table, I bought a Mirror that stands alone that I can get right up on, and do my make up cause the whole sitting sideways in the long mirror wasn't working out to well, and I got a tube of the Lash uhh something, the one in the thin pink tube by Cover Girl, it's in the lash blast family, not the luxe but another one. I'll write tomorrow in my haul from the CCS which one it is. I got it in brown because I foolishly forgot to look at the colour and just assumed it was black. Oh well, I dont have much in the way of brown mascara and when I do a neutral look with the liquid eyeliner I have in brown black it should go nicely. :)
OH another thing, I really like this look I did today. I used the mid tone brown creme shadow from my Revlon "not just nudes" palette, all over the lid, then used my NYX violet single shadow on just the lid of my eye, with black eyeliner, and black mascara, I have to say I liked the look ALOT. Maybe that'll be one of the ones I do when I start doing videos.
That's another thing, I've decided with part of the money I get back from my taxes, I'm going to buy a camera, and start doing videos on my own youtube channel. :) I'm going to have to work out my lighting, and my babbling problem, but I think I can be just as good as anyone else with an opinion. You don't necessarily need mac to look presentable. There are some drug store stuffs out there that can make you look decent espically for highschoolers who can't get their hands on mac until they get a job or splurge with birthday and christmas moneys. *nods* So yeah, any thoughs on camera's I'd appreciate the suggestions. I've narrowed it down to either Sony cyber shot, and Cannon power shot, I think that's how it goes, I know those are the two most popular ones that the guru's I watch on youtube use. But any other recommendations along with price tags are welcome. :)
Now I must go, and get my laundry from the dryer and hit the sack. Gnight all! ^^
Thanks to all my followers too by the way. You guys make me feel important, even if I'm not really. xD I hope you'll follow me to youtube when I make the transition.
Bai!

Bai!

MizzWorthy's Tag!
So one of my followers, and someone I follow started a Tag.
What makeup Product started your love affair /obsession with MakeUp.
Well let's see, I have dabbled in make up for the better part of this past year, and did my eye make up but nothing that really made me love it dearly until really recently. And that would be the tokidoki collection done with Smashbox. I love tokidoki, and when I had found out that they did a collection with Smashbox that was all I needed to hear. I eventually got the entire collection on Ebay, and love the packaging, the colours, the textures, although I don't use it often for fear of it running out because it's a limited edition, I take very good care of it. After that I got really serious about make up in general.
I started watching makeup video's religiously after that. I watched some before, only one or two people, but I really branched out after that and found so many great people, and wanted to learn more about the art of make up. Because to me, Make Up really is an art. Alot of Mac Artists agree that it's a way of transforming yourself, but I prefer the ideals of Kat Von D. For those of you who don't know who she is, she's a tattoo artist. She was on a show called Miami Ink, where she guest tatoo'd for awhile but problems with her personality and the owner of the shop Ami (pronounced Ah-me, not amy) caused her to leave. She eventually got her own show cause her personality is just that great, and she said this about make up.
"Makeup is part of my daily routine. It's the time in my mornings when I can concentrate on me, and me alone. Giving yourself that kind of attention is so important—and is something that is definitely glossed over by too many women."
So after hearing that, how could you not love make up? It's a confidence booster, it's a girly thing, that only other girls, or transgenders, or tranny men will understand. I don't judge. It enhances your features, it's fun to collect, it brings you back to a time of playing dress up and pretend, a time when things were alot more simple, alot easier, and taking that 5 - 20 minutes in the morning to yourself, when you get ready, to sit down, and decide, "Who do I wanna be today?" harkens back to when you truely believed you could be anyone you wanted to be. And that fact seems to fall away as we get older, and the reality of bills, and money issues, and relationships of the romantic kind sort of take over our life. And then kids, and worrying about having enough time for everything and everyone, and all your make up goes to hiding in a drawer and all you're concerned about is time, and not having enough of it.
That is why on so many make over shows, they tell you that you can have a 5 minute face, and look fabulous still, but just taking that extra 5 minutes to really concentrate on yourself is what makes all the diffrence. Make up is a way of taking care of yourself, of bringing out your creative side, and showing your individuality, because not all colours look the same on everyone. The same make up colours even applied with the same technique will make two people look very diffrent. It just has that power.
It's also been ingrained in us that make up and looking polished is part of a higher standard. You'd never let yourself go out of the house looking a tragic mess. And because I went to Catholic school from 7th to 12th grade, and was made to watch documentarys on the Holocaust and Hitler, and read the Diary of Anne Frank EVERY year, here's a little known fact for you. Women who were held in interment camps, corraled like sheep, would mix a drop of their water rations, and dirt to make a sort of makeshift eyeliner, they would pinch their cheeks to make them look like they were wearing rouge, and they would suck on their lips to make them red to give the illusion of lipstick. Why? Because it was a standards thing. Make up to some people may seem materialistic, but to others, it's a means to an end. It's something that becomes a part of you.
Now with that being said, do I agree with Haul Videos on youtube? yes, and no. Yes because people who do reviews on things, like Pinkiecharm (if you haven't guessed with how many times I mention her Miss Irene is onna my favorite people on youtube. ^^) it's a necessity. How are you going to know what to ask for if you dont know if she has it or not?
But there are some people who do brag. Like haul videos that span 3 and 4 videos at 10 minutes each or something of that sort, that's going a little to far in my own opinion. Then you really are just bragging. I personally like watching haul videos and really could care less if it's bragging or not. I'm just saying, you can tell who's bragging and who isn't.
And i've really just rambled all over the place with this haven't I? Well I'm really tired, and just started typing about something and kinda couldn't stop with just one topic so forgive me if this Tag turned into a makeup vlog of sorts... sorry about that. Lets see, about the Tag part, I tag whoever wants to do this. :) It's just the easiest way. ^^

New Mini Haul & some Lingo..
Ahoy there my fellow addicts of all things pretty! So in this post I'm going to share with you all what I got tonight, all drugstore stuff, so if you're looking for higher end purchases, please check back in a few months or so. I have a couple things from Mac but only from a CCS. So yeah.
So tonight I went to CVS cause I needed make up removing cloths, and I wanted to try Neutrogena's answer to St. Ives apricot scrub. So I got their Deep Clean gentle Scrub with scrubby beads, and umm yeah. It smells pretty good, and since the toner and moisterizer I use are also neutrogena, I thought maybe it would be a good idea to continue using the same company. I dunno why I think that, I just do.
I also got a package of Biore' or however you put the accent over the E, deep cleansing pore strips. I have very deep pores on my cheeks and my nose, and no matter what product I use to remove black and white heads, if I squeeze the tip of my nose, there's still stuff there. (pardon that gross image, but hey, it's not like pimples and break outs are new to anyone on here, so hush.) So I had tried these back when I was in highschool and they definately worked, but I had no way of paying for them, and it wasn't something my grandmother was going to buy for me all the time, so I had to give them up after the original package was gone. So I'm going to retry those.
I got a large tube of Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. It's supposed to help dry up acne, rinse away blackheads and shrink enlarged pores, so I'll update you all on how well that turns out if at all.
So thats all the skincare stuff I got. Now onto the make up. I didn't get much, but I like what I did get.
I got a compact of pressed powder in "buff" from Almay. I remember watching a review Pinkiecharm did saying she really doesn't like Almay's make up, but I have one of their eye colour kits with the eyeliner, three eye colours, and I also have a lip kit, with the lipstick and lip liner and I happen to like both so I thought I'd give it a try. Buff is the same colour my purity mineral make up foundation is in, so I thought maybe instead of that, since it's loose powder and it goes EVERYWHERE when I try and use it, I could use this, and see if it matches up, cause goodness knows Almay is a hell of a lot less expensive than the purity minerals.
And then, I got a new lipbalm from Burt's Bees. Now I had one that I bought in the lil glass pot, I think it's lime flavor/scented and I never connected that it was Burts Bees, until I saw the same box that I bought on the rack. Now I've noticed that ALL of my followers are from the UK except for 1 I think you're from Ireland right? Yeah, well I watched a video from Lollipop26 and she said Burts Bees is really expensive in the UK. Is it really? Cause they have new stuff with Pomergrante oil in it, since I'm allergic to coconut, that limits the amount of burts bees stuff I can use. They have cute lil "head to toe" sets I wanna get one, maybe next time. But yeah I'm wearing the lip balm now, and it makes my lips feel very slidey if that makes sense, kinda waxy, and a lil bit tingly, I'm not really in love with the scent, but if it puts moisture into my lips and keeps them from getting chapped, I'm sold!
Then I got some stuff on sale, three things actually.
I got two Revlon products that had 50% off stickers on them. I got a eyeshadow trio in Olive it up. It's not greenish tinted in the slightest to be honest. It's a chocolate brown, a cream colour and then a lighter colour of the brown in the corner. It's a "make a sheen" type, number 865. I dont think it was a very big hit at the store that's next door to my work, so that's why it was half off, they wanna get rid of it.
I also got a lipgloss from the same "collection" I guess you could call it, in Creme De La Chrome by Revlon and the colour is called "Plum Appeal" number 375. And it's this gorgeous metallic cranberry pomergrante colour, I fell in love with it. Normally I don't do Revlon stuff, I stick to Almay, CoverGirl, or Rimmel. Revlon reminds me alot of my grandma, she loved their mauve lipsticks, it was the only colour she ever wore, I think I mentioned that before. She used to go to Chanel, and Estee Lauder and buy a lipstick and get the free gifts and give them and the bag to me cause she didn't wear make up, just lipstick. She had green eyes and I hated her for it. My envy runs deep people.
And then from Rimmel, I got a Cool Matte 16 hr Mousse Foundation in 103 which is True Ivory. They didn't have any beige or buff colours so I got this one cause it was the lightest colour they had, and it was 75% off so if it doesn't work with my skin tone I can feel better about it. xD It's alot more liquidy then the mousse eyeshadow I have from Maybelline. I guess to blend better? I dunno, but I'll try it, cause the other foundation I think was making my skin red and irritated around my nose, cause since I stopped using it, and just used my mineral make up, the redness is gone, and my nose doesn't hurt anymore. So yeah. Maybe I'm allergic or it just broke me out, I dunno. So yeah that's my haul, mini as it is. Nothing too overly exciting for you guys who buy Mac and Nars and alla that good stuff.
Now onto the lingo part. Alot of videos I watch on Youtube, there are catch phrases that they use, and people in the comments on the bottom always ask the same things. SO, I thought I'd post some terms, slang, and what not here to kinda give people a heads up on what the terms mean.
Back to Mac: This is Mac's "recycle" process if you like. There are certain items that Mac sells that you can return to the store if you have one near you, or a Mac Counter at Macys or Nordstroms or whatever, Sephora, all that, and when you hit 6 emptys you get a free item. Now in a video I watched by TiffanyD I believe, she warned that some stores are cracking down on having the pans in there, which means you actually USED the product up already, and didn't just depot the shadow or blush or whatever. So be sure to ask bout the Back to Mac policy at the store you're purchasing your Mac items from to save yourself some embarassment once at the register.
Mac Pro: Mac Pro is another branch if you like of Mac. They specialize in diffrent colours, shades and what not for mostly make up artists but really anyone can go into a Mac Pro store, or call the 1-800 number and place an order for things. That's really the only diffrence. The variance in shades, and certain products that Mac doesn't sell in it's general perminant line because it's not something used by the general public. Like stuff for photoshoots and etc.
Pro Pans: Eyeshadow at Mac comes in alot of forms, pots, pigments, and pro pans. Pro pans are just that. Pro colours in pans the little silver pans the eyeshadows sit in once you've depotted them from the black casing. Alot of eyeshadows which are replacement shadows if you wanna think of it that way, come in those small pans to save you the trouble of continually depotting shadows to fit in the palettes which hold up to 15 shadows at a time, blush palettes hold 6 I believe, just as an FYI.
Palettes: They just all seem to run together dont they? Palettes are usually bought from Mac Pro stores. They hold like I said 15 eyeshadows or 6 blushes and they also have quads so you can pop out 3 or 4 or 2 if you like from your main palette to take whatever colour combo you're doing that day with you. Pretty nifty eh? I believe they're 12 dollars, the palettes for the 15 and the 6 not sure how much the quads are. I'll find out and post.
UDPP: This is an abbreviation for Urban Decay Primer Potion. An eyeshadow Primer that is worn on the eyelids to set your shadows, make them more vibrant and hopefully keep them from creasing on you during the day. It is one of the two most famous eyeshadow primers on the market, the other being Two Faced Shadow Insurace by non other than, Two Faced. The pro's and Con's are greatly argued by Guru's. And while UDPP has a better rep for being the best formula, shadow insurance is popular for it's friendly packaging. UDPP has a tendancy to dry out or get stick partially up in the tube and is a bitch and a half to get once it's gotten that way. You're only options at that point are to either throw it away and get a new bottle, which is a waste of both product and money, OR get a small jar, a sharp knife or scissors and nerves of steel and cut the tube open on both sides and scoop out what remains into said jar.
That's what people mean by Two Faced Shadow Insurance having more user friendly packaging cause it's tube kinda reminds me of toothpaste. o.O
Dupe or Dupe-able: This is a short way of saying Duplicate. There are alot of companys, like E.l.F, and Milani, that make lower cost products to rival what the bigger companies are doing colour and packaging wise to attract the audience. Such as, Milani having a blush that is a fair duplicate for Nars' Orgasm. Or E.l.F saying sorry to L'Oreal in their campaign to duplicate L'Oreal's mineral make up line, in packaging, and colour shades.
Haul: This is a big one that constantly confuses me to this day that people dont understand what this means. So here goes, Haul is a noun. It means collection. Hauling, is a verb, it means the act of or the process in which one goes through to make a Haul. But enough smartassness from me. A Haul is basically a collection of stuff, whether it be make up, or games or marbles, or poptart boxes, the item really isn't important, it just means that it's part of a group of stuff that somebody has purchased. Like me tonight with the buncha stuff I bought from CVS. That is a haul. I went in there, bought stuff, and brought it home with the intent on reviewing what I got, and hopefully that'll help someone when they go to their walgreens, or rite aid or Super Drug for you Uker people, make a choice between brands. It's pro's and con's it's good and bad points, well you get the idea.
CCS / CCO: These abbreviations stand for Cosmetic Company Store, and Cosmetic Company Outlet. These stores that can be freestanding, part of an Outlet mall or attached to another store, (like my CCS is a part of Saks Fifth Ave. at my local mall) that sells make up from past collections at discounted prices. Usually its either not been sold, or time on the product has run out, or the company needs to move it out to make room for it's new stuff. So basically when you go into one, and you see Mac stuff there, it's basically been given a discount sticker because it didn't all sell before the next collection came out. I've seen reminants from Neo Sci Fi at my local CCS, and I know that iamgrape1116 I believe or 1119 can never remember, she saw Heatherette and Fafi stuff at the bloomingdales! Also at my local mall, she doesn't live to far from me. :D So yeah if you loved a collection, and didn't get everything you wanted, and you have a CCO or CCS near you, check there to see if they have any at a discount before you make the move to ebay and get jacked up prices which are ridiculous.
227, 118, 213: These numbers are usually used to refer to Mac brushes which come with numbers to identify what they're used for. Eyeshadow, Face powders, lip colours, eyeliner, etc. There are ALOT of brushes and they are not cheap by any stretch of the imgination, and I suppose you can decieve yourself into thinking that Mac brushes are an investment and if well taken care of, they'll last you probably not forever but a good solid couple years.
Me, I love my make up, I love doing make up, but until I can afford that kinda stuff, my cheapy brushes will just have to do. When I get a better paying job is when I'll start building my kit to be a make up artist. :)
So that's all I can think of that're asked ALL the time. Hope that helps anybody who didn't know. ^^ Enjoy your weekend, and hope to post to you all again soon!

My Origins...
So one of the posts I said that I'd be doing would be my Origins post about how I got into make up and such because I actually didn't get a chance to do my eyeliner comparison yet, and I really wanted to make a post to get into the habit of doing this all the time. So here goes.
So unlike most girls who start off with make up in their like junior high school days, or sometimes even younger at like 10 when you get your nails painted like mommy. Mine really didn't start until... I was about..26. I KNOW right?? I mean when I was younger, I used eyeshadows, basically this frosty purple colour cause I like how it contrasted with my eye colour, and purple is one of my favorite colours, and this was even before I knew that purple is a colour that makes brown eyes pop. So there yah go.
I just, was never into it, I was a very big tomboy that bit my nails, and didn't wear make up, and never did anything with my hair, I'd grow it out real long and do nothing with it. Now my hair type is very thin and baby fine, so it can't be to long or it starts to weigh down on it'self and look horrible. So I keep it collarbone length at it's longest and just below the chin at it's shortest. But that's another blog. So yeah make up was never a big deal to me. And I wish I could say my wanting to go to school to be a make up artist or nail tech is because of this life long love of make up and this burning desire to show how much I love it and this that and the other thing. But sadly, it's not. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
So when I was 24 I was in a car accident. Just humor me. And I lost my job because I was under so many restrictions I couldn't work there anymore. I had torn a ligament or tendon or something at my lumbar spine, and all I knew was that it hurt like hell. I couldn't walk for more then ten minutes at a stretch before I had to sit down and rest for about 20 minutes so the dull burning pain would go away. It was awful. So two years later, at 26 I got hired with a temp agency and started working at my current employer. That is where I met Melyssa.
Melyssa, wasn't a really prissy girly girl. She was into dirt bikes and fishing, and drinking, and all that southern girl type stuff right? But she was just enough of a girly girl, to love doing her make up. She has those chamelon eyes, that shift from blue to grey to green depending on what mood she's in yah know? And she had her hair dyed black, and it was really long, so in short I hate her? lol, I always say one of my biggest disappointments in my life is the fact that both my older siblings got my mom's pretty blue eyes and I have brown. BUT, that's what they make contacts for bitches! LOL i know I'm rambling all over the place.
Anyways, she got me into make up, and I enjoyed doing it once I saw how using diffrent colours change the way your face looks. And the more I did it, the more I loved it, and kinda got obsessed about it. And that's what led me to youtube. On facebook, I had subscribed to the MAC page there. At that time, they had just done the release of the Fafi line, and I loved all the dolls and the pretty colours but I really just watched. Then, I looked up "MAC Hauls" on youtube and it lead to xteener, and Fafinettex3, and Whatstyleistonickel, and from them I found other people like Pinkiecharm, and Lollipop26 and Loulud81, and AllthatGlitters21, and xsparkage, and Kaikhaod, and all these people who do the best tutorials and give the best advice and best tips and tricks and reviews on all kinds of stuff. Youtube I swear is like the visual wikipedia, it's great.
So that really fueled my desire and love of make up, and then I started watching not just every day make up, like the neutral looks or the pops of colour every now and then for going out to clubs or special occasions, but like fantasy make up, for Ren Faires or, make up shows, and the colours, and visions, and alla that, it's what I love.
I used to draw alot when I was younger, but I lost touch with it from an immense artists block and never went back to it, because everytime I picked up a pencil and stared at the bare sheet of paper, I couldn't see anything. There was no object I wanted to draw, no thought in my head, no nothing and it was so frustrating I didn't know what to do.
But when I look at a person's face, I try to determine their best feature. For alotta people who have either deep set eyes and using shadow on them wont make them pop because you can't see the colours except when they blink, or their skin and how smooth and even it is, to make it glowy or dewy, or radiant or whatever adjective you'd wanna use, or their lip depending on their shape, and how full they are. All those factors determine what I'm going to do.
I fully believe in the "one or the other" rule. If you've determined like I have that your eyes and lips are your best two features, then you play up one, and down play the other. If you're going to do a dramatic eye, then do a nude or pastel lip, if you're going to do a dark red or full on colour lip, then a neutral eye would look best. That's just soley my opinion, but I don't wanna overdo it. And that's the keep in mind rule I have.
So that's led me up to today, and where I wanna be tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed reading. More coming soon I promise.

So that was the tag. The update is just to let people who read this know that I did go back to cvs after work and exchange the eyeliner for another one that actually worked, and I stood there at the counter, but kinda off to the side and opened it in front of her just so I could make sure it worked before I left the store and was disappointed. I was really hoping that the one i returned was defective and I just wasn't reading something on the package that you're supposed to twist or poke or something and look like a complete mental case for not being able to get it to work. But it did work so I'll be doing a comparison review between that, and the other liquid eyeliner I have, to compare the applicators. So yeah this weekend I'll getta crackin' on that. And uhhmmm... yeah the exchange was really dumb cause she couldn't just exchange it, she had to give me back the money, and then I bought the other one, only to give her back the money she just handed to me. o.0 what kind of moroness is that? Anyways! Thanks for reading, and I'll be back with that review sometime this weekend.
OH and another thing I wanted to mention. The gradient peach to purple look that I was talking about in my last post. So I tried it today, and it didn't turn out well at all. >.< All the colours kinda blended together and weren't distinctive or vibrant or non of that. The problem, i'm thinking was that I put them over a white base. I used the dream matte mousse eyeshadow in white veil or some such, which, isn't on the maybelline website either, I went there after finding the only one white mousse they had at CVS, to find out what other colours they had and if I liked the white one I was going to get others, well I didn't find any others or any mention of the product at all. 0.o it was really odd people.
SO the whole point of that rambling which I find that I do quite a bit now, is that, the colour of your base can drastically effect the colour of your shadow. A perfect example of that with proof is Lollipop26's lil experiment with the painterly and uhh blackground? paintpots and how diffrent the eyeshadows came out being layered over the top of such drastically colour wise bases. SO i'm going to try a neutral one from the nudes palette I bought last night, and also try the dark chocolate brown either from the same nudes palette, although that one is a bit too bronzey / shimmery, I may just use the other half of the olive duo creme eyeshadow from Elf. I'm not sure yet. Matte would be better I think, so yeah, I have a beach sand type of colour in the coastal palette by revlon in the creme shadows, at least that's what I think it's called, Coastal Blues or something? I dunno and im to comfortable to go get up and look. Anyways, I'll let you guys know how it turned out.

Mini drugstore haul...and a cry for help?
Okay, I went into CVS under the premise of getting shampoo cause I ran out, and Pert two in one..... o.o yeah that's alla ima say about that. My hair goes flat and not even my Got 2 be stuff can put umph back into it. So meh, I went there and got TRESemme' 24 hour body "Healthy Volume" shampoo and conditioner. It smells like the rest of the tresemme line which is fine. Although I always prefer Herbal Essence when it comes to smell. But I bounce back and forth, when one stops working for my hair. ;p
So yeah, the extra's that I got were Covergirls wetslicks in Amazing mint, after watching a review from PinkieCharm that it tingles nicely, not burns, and it smells like toothpaste. And she was right! I like it. Honestly it's horrible because as we make up addicts always ask ourselves even before we've bought it, "how many _____ do you really need?!" and it all depends on your weakness. Alot of people admit to having one, PinkieCharm fully admits to being a lipgloss whore, Lollipop26 admits to having to many highlighters, and she really does need to do that video about all her highlighters cause I'd love to see how many she actually has. :D Mine? eyeshadows. It's just a good thing I don't live close enough to a free standing MAC store or else I'd be so broke, and lose my apartment. ;p Favorite colours of eyeshadows? purple cause I have brown eyes, it's supposed to be the best colour for said shade of eyes, white shimmer, cause I think it's pretty on me, Pink in gradient, a look which I'm working on. I'm going to get a camera and start doing videos myself. It's one of my resolutions. And... greys. Simply because, grey, white, black and pink is my favorite colour combo for anyone who knows me. :)
Anyways, I also got another creme shadow palette in 710 "Not Just Nudes". It kinda reminds me of the stages of rue. For any of you southerners, or people who enjoy cooking from New Orleans, rue is a mix of fat and flour. It's a thickening agent basically, like Okra, for stews, jumbulaya, or ( i cant really spell it so I'll just sound it out) Eh too feh! :D and yeah the stages are Blonde, Caramel, and Dark. And that's kinda how this palette looks. The first colour is a blonde rue type colour, and it's sheeny, not sparkly. It's pretty, the second (from left to right btw), is a medium rue shade, caramelly type of colour, and it's also sheeny and a bit of shimmer. The next one is kinda the same colour, BUT it's matte. Which is nice, and the last is a milk chocolate dark rue type of colour with sheen as well and shimmer. Not glittery, there's no big chunks of sparkles or anything so I like them. They're basically the poor mans paint pot. xD which is basically what I use them for. lol
And the last I have to say im a little disappointed in at the moment. It's cover girls Line exact. I cant really do a inital review on it, because the damn thing doesn't work! I opened it and went to test it on my hand and........nothing. No lines, no mark, no NOTHING. I'm SOOO taking this thing back tomorrow on my lunch hour to get another one, cause this is crap! I dont want my money back, I want to try this, to see if the pen is any better for me than the liquid liner from presitge. My hand shakes to much to use it properly. I like pencil liners, but I love the fluidity of gel and liquid liners. I like my H.i.P fluid liner, it's just the brush they give you is really rough on the eye area, and even after I washed it, it still kinda hurts. I have essence of beauty brushes, one of which from the mini travel set I bought awhile back is an eyeliner brush, but it's not angeled or anything and even though I've used it once, and it went on okay, I'm going to assume that an angled brush would work better. Any ideas?
And so yeah, that's my mini haul and rambling and what nots. Im going to work on my make up area on the patio summore this weekend. I wanna get those lil mini chest of drawers to seperate all the stuff I have. I need to get containers for all my eyeliners and lip liners and brushes and stuff yeah. Also, a tip I got while watching MAC storage videos on youtube was to use that shelf liner stuff on the inside of the drawers in black so the paintpots and eyeshadow pots dont move around in the drawer. A tip I thought was pretty smart, I'll definately try that. :)
Thanks for reading. Feel free to comment, and give me any advice you'd like. As as make up newbie really, I can use all the help I can get.
ALSO; I need you alls help. I use neutrogena for my face lotion. The one for dual skin, cause I have combination skin, with the usual dry around the nose and on the cheek patches, and Oily T zone area. But lately, I dunno if it's because Florida is finally having a bit of a chill here, (it went down to 39 degrees here, which I know isn't really that BAD, espically for me being born and raised in Boston, MA, but for florida, that's cold people!) but my moisturizer isn't working as well as it used to. I use the recommended one pump for my whole face, and when I rub it in, my face feels kinda tacky almost, it's not smooth and soft like I know lotion is SUPPOSED to leave your skin. So suggestions on a new moisturizer? Cause I noticed today that I have really dry patches around my nose, and on one cheek there was actually flakes and I didn't notice it until I was DONE with my make up, so yeah that was really blah today.
I'm also thinking that maybe I'm not using a good cleanser either. I wanna go back to using my St. Ives apricot scrub cause I used to LOVE that stuff, it worked wonders on my skin, made it soft, and smooth and touchable.
So yeah, any help? Anyone? please? =/

Everyday Minerals
Hello Blogger Peoples! So I'm bored tonight, so I'm watching ALL of Pinkie Charm's haul video's next is SephoraJunkie's if I stay awake after all these are done. :) I love watching Haul videos, I dont think they're bragging, or showing off and anyone who thinks that is dumb. But that's just my personal opinion.
So I have some stuff to talk about, and also two reviews on NYX stuff and yeah.
Onto my first review;
Nyx eyeshadows, I used Herb and White Pearl the other day in a look along with E.l.f's creme shadow for a base. I have yet to get to a mall to get two faced shadow insurance, simply because even though Urban Decay Primer Potion has gotten equally good reviews, the problems people mention about the packaging just kinda put me off about it, I'll get around to trying it one day but I'd rather try something with more user friendly packaging. Espically since I'm still a newbie to all this high end stuff.
But back to my eyeshadows. The creme shadows were really nice. The consistancy was awesome, just as good as the ones I have in my revlon palettes, just as creamy and shimmered nicely. The NYX went on smooth and they were so pigmented that I actually had to ease up on the application because normally I was used to having to, as Richie Nickel would say, "pack it on loads" just to get the colour to show up, so I'm really glad that they're as pigmented as they are. So I like them alot, and I'm really glad I got them. I shall steer clear of the trio's though, and stick with the singles.
Another review is on the NYX lipstick. I used Athena, which is the frosty lilac colour that I had mentioned in my last haul thingie. I only reapplied once throughout the day, and it stayed shimmery all day long, so I was very happy about that. Now I watched a video from Lollipop26 saying that diffrent Nyx lipsticks have diffrent consistancys which, I totally found to be true when I swatched the lipsticks when I got them in the mail. Some are more slick then the others and yeah. I still recommend them though because their colours are pretty, and they cover your own lip pigmentation pretty well.
So the reason this video is entitled Everyday Minerals, is that I requested a free sample kit from them. The three sample size mineral foundations, one cheek colour and one concealer. I'm going to give mineral makeup another try. I had signed up for Purity minerals, but apparently wasn't using it right, and it wasn't covering up anything, not my uneven skin tone, not anything, it was just kind of sitting there. Now I know you actually have to work it into your skin, but still I dont believe it's the right shade for me, so I ordered one from three diffrent tone families to see what my real match would be. If all else fails, once I get my tax returns I'll go to a M.a.c counter and ask them to colour match me with studio fix fluid.
Now I have a liquid foundation which is really 4 or 5 colours in one, you know that bottle? The um.... aw crap, now i gotta get up and get it... *brief pause please*... okay Im back! Revlon Custom Creations, in "Light". Because I've gotten rather pale lately. And I'm not going to tell you all why, but yeah. I tried to mix colours with the darker colours to find my perfect colour, but to not avail. But lately I've been just using number 2, which isn't the lightest colour, but one up, 5 being the darkest. And it covers the uneveness in my cheeks fairly well, as well as on my nose, and yeah, blends well and whatever. I just don't know if it's making me look washed out and matches or not.
I'm mortally afraid of looking like this lady I work with. She is a step out of the 80's in a bad way. She packs on the concealer, to where her face is like 3 shades darker than her neck, and it's noticable, which is bad. The blush is so bright it's horrible, her eyeliner is so thick and not like in the good emo girl type way.. it just looks very dated and uneven and piled on. I don't wanna look like that, I wanna know what my colour is so I can look just....pretty. Yah know?
So yeah, we're going to try everyday minerals and I'll let you know if it breaks me out like it does some other people I've watched on youtube.
So more on the table on the patio idea, I am going to get a nice little table cloth and the vanity mirror like Elle has from Sally's Beauty Supply. There's one near my house and I'll probably go tomorrow cause I have nothing to do other than laundry. I shall keep you updated on that, and hopefully take pictures and yeah.
later peoples!

MakeUp Thoughts.. and last box
Good Eve! So I'm home and I have half an hour before I start my laundry, so I thought I'd blog about some thoughts I had about my make up. My vanity is just way to small now for all the new stuff I've gotten, even with all the stuff I've gotten rid of. SO, there's this table that was here in the house when I moved in that was where my entertainment center is now. And it's on the patio at the moment, but I thought since I really don't use it for anything, that I could maybe get one of those light up mirrors from walmart or super target and go put my make up stuff out there, since there's natural light out there, which is where you should really do your make up or so im told, I thought it'd be a good idea. So yeah.
My last box of ordered stuff came just a few minutes ago, well half an hour ago, at like 20 past 7, I didn't even know UPS delivered that late. o.O But anyways, it had two of the three Beauty Rush dual mists I ordered during their Semi Annual sale. I ordered Slice of Heaven, Candy Baby, and Appletini. But Candy Baby was on backorder. I did go to Victoria's Secret in my mall (Sawgrass for those of you who care, not many yeah i know) but the place was a disaster area. They did have Candy Baby, and quite a few of them, but the place had been torn apart by people, and there were long ol' lines at the counters and honestly since I'd already ordered it, even if I got it for 8.50, it really wasn't worth waiting in that line. I'll just wait til it's sent to me.
And then... there was something else I wanted to say and I can't remember what it was...*jepoardy music* ....OH, my hello Kitty wishlist, I think it's up to 204.00 dollars. Ridiculous right? I saw the pictures on http://www.fafinettex3.blogspot.com Fafinettex3's blog page. She got it from someone else's blog so credit to them both for the pictures and prices. By the way, anyone who reads this, if you're going for the collection it comes out on February 12th, I believe. I'm so staying up February 11th, till it's on the website so I can order my stuff and just get it over with.
But yeah this is my wishlist...
Lips; Straying - 14.00 & Cute Ster - 14.50
Lipglass; Mimmy (kitty's twin sister just as an fyi) - 14.00 & Fast Friends - 14.00
Blush: Tippy 22.00
Nail Polish: basically all three of them, Something about Pink, On the Prowl, & Vestral White, all three are 11.00 a piece.
Brush Collection - 49.50 I dont have any mac brushes, I have a buncha cheapy ones but yeah.
Make Up bag - 35.00
Mirror - 22.00
-----------------------------------
204.00 total.
It's okay though cause I got my W2's today, so I can get it! Yay!
So that's about it. Enjoy and all that happy stuffs!

HAUL!!!
Yay, so both my Elf and Cherry Culture hauls came in today, YAY!!! I have been waiting for them for a long while now. So all I have left to wait for are my beauty rush dual mists from Victoria Secrets and that's it for me until Hello Kitty and Mac make their debut in February. Really excited about that. I already have money saved up for it, I dont want the whole collection, cause I really wasn't sold on the Tomcat eyeshadow palette, the colours were pretty but, i have stuff that's too similiar to alot of the colours already. I'm only planning on getting the lipsticks, lipglass, the compact mirror, and maybe the plushie. Maybe. Anyways, on to the haul!!
So from E.l.f or http://www.eyeslipsface.com I got the following....
I got a Foundation Brush, cause I've always used sponges up until now. But, the round sponges even though they say they're good for foundation on the package, they're fulla shit, they suck! All the product gets sucked into the sponge itself, and nothing goes on your skin at all. I had the triangle ones and they worked better, but Walgreens (at least the one I went to) didn't have them, only CVS had 'em so meh. So I'll try the brush after I wash it, and we'll see how it works out.
Next I got two Blushes from them, one in "Innocence" and one in "Shy". Shy is more pink and Innocence is more peachy. I liked 'em both when I saw them on the website, so yeah. I got 'em both cause at the time I only had one blusher colour and it was really bright pink, it was from onna those colour workshop type things my mommy bought me for christmas one year. They have pretty good pigmentation for something like that, but it was just to bright to wear everyday, even with a light hand. - -; They didn't blend very well either.
Then, I got two packs of shine erasers cause my skin can get really oily depending on what way I clean my face. If I use the neutrogena pod thing with the scrubbing pads, then it gets oily later on. If I just use the face wash, then it doesn't. Go figure, but my skin feels smoother and fresher after the pod. I dunno. But anyways I got those, and there's 100 sheets for 1.00 so I got two.
And finally, I got a creme eyeshadow duo, in Olive. One side is a mossy green colour and the other is a brown colour. I like the pigmentation and texture of both. So yeah.
So that's all I got from them. Then I got stuff from Cherry Culture cause I wanted to try out Nyx eyeshadows...
So from Cherry Culture or http://www.cherryculture.com I got;
6 round lips sticks. In -
o1.) Femme, which is a really bright pink, I like it though
o2.) Tea Rose, which is a pretty dusky rose pink
o3.) Thalia, which is really popular with alotta youtube girls, so I thought I'd try it, it's almost like Tea Rose but it's more mauvey.
o4.) Medusa, which is a really REALLY dark burgandy almost purple colour that I liked. I dont plan on wearing it everyday, but I liked it, and thought it was a colour I should try
o5.) Strawberry Milk, which is a baby pink colour, it's really pretty and very shimmery.
o6.) and then finally Athena, which is a frosty lilac colour.
I like all 6 of them. I swatched 'em on my hand, maybe I'll be able to take picture of it with my new digi cam, lets find out. Okay, took pictures, now hopefully they come out. Anyways, moving on.
I got 5 Nyx eyeshadows. In -
o1.) Herb, which is a shimmery green colour.
o2.) Rootbeer, which is a sorta purpley brown colour.
o3.) White Pearl, which is...duh WHITE. lol and it's very shimmery as well.
o4.) Violet, which is a really pretty purpley plum colour.
05.) and finally Nude, since everyone needs neutral colours... except for Richie Nickel that is, who only has expresso for his eyebrows. :) Btw, it's a very sheer colour, its really peachy.
Then I got two blushes from Nyx as well just to check out diffrent brands.
o1.) Silky Rose which is very nude tone pink.
o2.) and Natural, which is also nude tone pink but about a shade lighter then Silky Rose. They looked diffrent on the website but meh, i like 'em still.
And finally two nail polishes, one in Cappucino, which is a milky chocolate brown and Asphalt which is a sheer black with tons of multicoloured glitters.
Also the freebie cherry roll on gloss that cherryculture gives you as a gift, I like it. I haven't had a roll on gloss in ages!
So yeah that was meh haul. It's alotta stuff I know but, I'm just catching up to everyone else. And don't worry with all this new make up, please believe there are old palettes in my collection that have NO pigmentation at all that will be heading for the trash. Now that I know what quality is, I'd never go back to mediocre stuff, why would anyone do that? Right? SO yeah, hopefully my camera works and I get pictures up on this thing too for swatches.
Enjoy!
>>Tami
:edit: yeah the camera's a no go, it's too blurry, oh well, I'll get a disposable one soon. ^^

o2.) Rootbeer, which is a sorta purpley brown colour.
o3.) White Pearl, which is...duh WHITE. lol and it's very shimmery as well.
o4.) Violet, which is a really pretty purpley plum colour.
Enjoy!

:edit: yeah the camera's a no go, it's too blurry, oh well, I'll get a disposable one soon. ^^
