So this is a review. Shocking I know. xD On the L'Oreal H.i.P Khol Liners.
Now I have two, one in Teal and one in Burgandy, and the colours are gorgeous! However. When I bought these, I had this image in my head somehow that they were gel or some liquid variety of liner, and in actuality, they're not. Basically what L'Oreal has done is taken their pigment jars, put it into another container, and put stick wands into it for an applicator and called it a khol liner.
The only diffrence in the texture or consistancy from the pigment jars to the khol liners that I noticed was that the pigment jar was a bit more chunky. Other than that it's the same shadow.
Further more, the applicator is a bit difficult to work with, because it's not a brush of any sort, it's pretty much just a felt tip looking thing that holds onto product, very poorly at times I might add, it has a tendency for fall outs, very bad fall outs, it's not a consistant line, you have to double over in order to get the right amount of pigmentation when lining your eyes, and since it's shadow, and not a liquid form I dont recommend it for the waterline.
If you really wanted to use this for a liner, you could easily take the pigment jars, and a angle brush and maybe some water or other mixing medium and use it that way.
Do I like them? Yeah, they're okay, I like the colours because they're not available in the pigment jar form. Would I ever purchase them again? No. For me, they're to much of a hassle to get to work right, and in the morning, since I like to sleep in, I really dont have the time to fuss with it.
I have thought of buying a small small brush, kind of like the "best eyeliner brush ever?" from Lollipop26's video of the same title, and using THAT to line my eyes with the shadow. Or shaking some of the colour out, and using the same brush I use to line my eyes when using L'Oreal H.i.P's gel eyeliner. (The original brush it comes with to me is horrible, but that's another review)
But we shall see, I'll find some way to make it work and keep you all updated. ^^ Hope this helped. There are good points and bad points to this product, and depending on how much effort you wanta put into making it work for you, should be what you base your decision on as to whether or not you buy it.
Let me know if it worked for you, and what tips and tricks you used to making it work.
